LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The dog found boarded up inside a dog house on the side of the road last week in South Los Angeles will be up for adoption soon.
Walter is getting settled into his foster home, but he continues to need medical care and is extremely scared of people.
Once he's back to good health, he'll be put up for adoption.
Animal rescuers found Walter after he was locked inside an abandoned dog house for three days.
On Friday, police were still looking for the person responsible.
