Dogs will be auditioning for a chance to hang ten on a float in the 2017 Rose Parade Saturday morning.

PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- Dogs will be auditioning for a chance to hang 10 on a float in the 2017 Rose Parade Saturday morning.

The auditions start at 10 a.m. at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. It's a fundraiser for 33 different animal charities, according to Joey Herrick with the Lucy Pet Foundation.

A portable K-9 surf machine was constructed to be part of the special surf float for the Rose Parade.

One dog in particular, Sully, got to hang 10 as part of a demonstration Friday in the surf machine. Herrick said Sully is a world champion dog who loves going out into the ocean to surf.
