Runaway pets reunited with owners after Fourth of July frenzy
The Fourth of July may be over, but animal shelters and pet owners are still dealing with the aftermath of lost and missing pets.

JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) -- The Fourth of July may be over, but animal shelters and pet owners are still dealing with the aftermath of lost and missing pets.

The booming sound that comes with fireworks often stirs pets, especially dogs, into a frenzy, causing many to run away.

Inland Empire Bureau Chief Rob McMillan visited a Jurupa Valley shelter where many were happily reunited on Monday. Watch his full report in the video above.
