Police cracked down on street racers performing dangerous stunts overnight in Arcadia and Pico Rivera.

ARCADIA, Calif. (KABC) -- Police cracked down on street racers performing dangerous stunts overnight in two different cities.

One wild scene played out in Arcadia at the intersection of West Duarte Road and South Baldwin Avenue.

Hundreds of people who gathered to watch the spectacle dispersed after police arrived.

Another huge crowd also blocked traffic at Beverly and Rosemead boulevards in Pico Rivera.

They also set off fireworks.

Two people were arrested for throwing objects at deputies.
