BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (KABC) -- Hillary Clinton headed out to Beverly Hills on Thursday to hold what her campaign calls her final Los Angeles-area fundraising dinner before the election.

The event took place at a private residence, and Elton John performed. Ticket prices for the fundraiser started at around $33,400, which is the legal limit a person can contribute to a national party committee.

Last month, Clinton had to cancel her appearance in Los Angeles after she fell ill at a Sept. 11 ceremony and later announced she was suffering from walking pneumonia. Her husband former President Bill Clinton took her place.

The Democratic presidential nominee's last three fundraisers in L.A. in the past five weeks have been arranged similarly - at a private residence, costing tens of thousands of dollars to attend.

Clinton not only visited Beverly Hills on this Southland trip, but she will also make a stop on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Friday. It will be her first interview since the most recent presidential debate.

Meantime, Vice President Joe Biden was also in the Los Angeles area Thursday and spoke at a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee fundraiser at around 7 p.m. at a private residence.
