DOWNEY, Calif. (KABC) -- A paralyzed man is able to use a robotic arm all thanks to computer chips implanted into his brain.

Erik Sorta was paralyzed by a gunshot wound 13 years ago. It's taken two years of surgeries and frustrating struggles to master the robotic arm, but it's paid off.

Next up, doctors want to install sensors on the robotic arms, so he can actually feel things.
