DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- If you live anywhere near downtown Los Angeles and you haven't bought your Valentine's Day flowers yet - you're in luck.

Love is in the air and so is the fragrant smell of flowers at the California Flower Mall, which remains open until 8 p.m.

Dozens of shops are packed with petals of every variety, making it the place for many to do their Valentine's Day shopping.

The mall has a wide selection and some bargain basement prices - half off on many arrangements compared to your local florist. Deals can be even better if you're buying in bulk.

Just keep in mind when picking out the color that each shade has its own meaning: Red is for romance, white stands for peace and purity and yellow is for friendship.
