Drag Queen World Series raises funds for AIDS group
The 5th annual Drag Queen World Series, held in Glendale, raised money for a nonprofit that helps people with AIDS.

GLENDALE, Calif (KABC) -- The baseball diamond was a drag queen's best friend on Saturday at a colorful game played to raise money for a charity that supports awareness of AIDS.

In the 5th annual Drag Queen World Series, defending champs The West Hollywood Cheerleaders lost their title to The L.A. Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

The event at the Glendale Sports Complex benefited Life Group L.A. which helps raise AIDS awareness and provides emotional and financial support for people affected by HIV and AIDS.
