We're taking a look back at some of our most memorable moments from the past five years on Eye on L.A. from Australia to the mystical, musical world of Laurel Canyon.
AUSTRALIA
For her first Eye on L.A. assignment in 2010, we sent Tina Malave 'down under' to Australia for a wildlife adventure. Kangaroos, koalas, and crocodiles.

MAGIC CASTLE
The Magic Castle is one of the most exclusive clubs in L.A. where you have to be a magician or a member to get in. We worked a little magic ourselves and got a tour back in 2011. Along with five bars, 13 performance areas and a restaurant, the castle is filled with the mysteries and lots of magic!
STAHL HOUSE
This iconic and stunning all glass home is perched high above the Sunset strip. And even though the glass walls have to be replaced after an earthquake and the furniture gets sun damaged, the Stahl House is definitely a modern masterpiece.
WITCH'S HOUSE
This little cottage is known for its whimsical fairytale faade, and when we got the first look inside the Witch's House in 2013, we found the interior was also straight out of a storybook!

GOODYEAR BLIMP 2014
In 2014, Eye on L.A. took two lucky viewers on a ride of a lifetime upon on the now retired "Spirit of America" Goodyear Blimp. Based in Carson, California, the airship's name was chosen as a tribute to the patriotic spirit of the United States following Sept. 11, 2001.
PACIFIC AIR
For a view of Los Angeles like no other, take a tour in the sky at Pacific Blue Air in a light sport aircraft. And if you're feeling extra brave, they offer introductory and intermediate level flight lessons.
TSNY TRAPEZE SCHOOL
TSNY Trapeze School offers trapeze lessons to all levels of skills. So whether you're seeking a challenge, a good workout, or just a lot of fun, here's your chance to fly through the air over the Santa Monica Pier.

Eye on LA gives you some insight on what to expect from the Disneyland Diamond Days Sweepstakes. We even got you a sneak peak at one of the prizes-a hand cut crystal Cinderella glass slipper. IDLE HOUR
The restoration and re-opening of a 1941 landmark, Idle Hour, brought a whimsical and historical dining experience to North Hollywood. With cocktails that are worth a pit stop, this little caf is literally a barrel of fun.
HICKSVILLE TRAILER PALACE
Hicksville Trailer Palace is the coolest little motel in Joshua Tree where you stay in vintage trailers. Hicksville was originally created as a retreat for artists to get a way and have a place to create and collaborate.
THE WEISMAN ART MUSEUM
This secret art mecca is actually located in a private residence in Holmby Hills. Home to over 400 pieces of incredible paintings and sculptures, including works by Picasso and Magritte, you can set up a free tour of this hidden museum for yourself.
ROYCE'S ARCADE WAREHOUSE
Every Saturday, Royce's Arcade Warehouse in Chatsworth offers all day free play on their excellent collection of retro arcade games. You can even rent one to play at home for $100 a month.
Daytime at Hollywood Bowl
Did you know that the Hollywood Bowl is a public park with a free museum during the day? You can take a picnic and run the steps and maybe even catch a glimpse of the LA Phil rehearsing for their next performance.
HSI LAI TEMPLE
Hsi Lai Temple is a little slice of peaceful paradise unlike anything you've ever experienced in the Los Angeles area. The Chinese Buddhist Temple, in Hacienda Heights, is perfect for a little escape.
LITTLE INDIA
Pioneer Boulevard in Artesia is the hub of the Indian community in SoCal known as Little India. The smells, tastes, and shopping here will make you feel like you're really on the city streets of India.
PAPA CRISTO'S
Papa Cristo's is a family owned Greek restaurant where the food doesn't stop coming! Join Papa and the family for Thursday Night Family dinner for an authentic Greek meal.
MESSOB

LADIES NIGHT OUT
On the last Friday of every month, on "Vintage Alley" along Magnolia Boulevard in Burbank there's a shopping extravaganza called Ladies Night Out! Live music, food trucks, and killer vintage deals make this an amazing shopping block party for everyone.
