Facebook is now cited in one-third of all divorce cases, according to a new survey of legal firms' caseloads.

Divorce lawyers say sharing too much information or photos on the website is like handing them evidence on a silver platter.

The social website provides a record of activities that can be used in a court case and is often irrefutable evidence of infidelity.

Facebook also helps tracks expenditures on everything from cars to holidays.
