Hundreds gather to celebrate Christmas at L.A. Live

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- It was a festive winter wonderland in the heart of downtown Los Angeles on Christmas day.

Families flooded into L.A. Live to celebrate Christmas with a basketball game, a movie, or just some holiday ice skating.

Hundreds lined up Christmas night to skate at the rink in the middle of downtown while across the street, the Lakers and Clippers put on a Christmas show at Staples Center, with Kobe's farewell tour taking another stumble.

In addition, the force remained strong as "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" continued to draw crowds on the major holiday.
