Family homeless shelter reopens in Northridge after fire
The San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission in North Hollywood is opening up a new shelter after a fire burned its last one down.

NORTHRIDGE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- About a year ago, a fire destroyed San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission in North Hollywood, leaving dozens of residents homeless.

Now, the organization is about to open a brand new, much bigger shelter that will house 25 to 30 families in Northridge thanks to generous donations.
