Hopefully residents of one Japanese city woke up with an appetite Monday morning.
The city of Kesennuma now holds the distinction of creating the country's longest tuna roll.
Residents hosted the event at a local fish market on Sunday.
Nearly 1,300 people, including tourists, helped make the giant sushi roll.
They used 187 pounds of tuna, 1,200 pounds of rice and 1,700 sheets of seaweed to make the creation that stretches 1,000 feet long.
