Veterans Day: Free 'Thank You Sundae' happening now at Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour, ends Tuesday

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- To celebrate Veterans Day, Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour locations across the Southland are saluting those who have served our country with a free "Thank You Sundae."

The event began Saturday and runs through Tuesday. Anyone who shows an active or veteran military ID will be treated to a vanilla ice cream sundae topped with strawberries, blueberries, whip cream, nuts, a cherry and an American flag.

Participating locations include: Brea, Buena Park, Mission Viejo, Rancho Cucamonga, Riverside and Santa Clarita.

This is the fourth year the ice cream parlor and restaurant has offered the free "Thank You Sundae."
