LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Exploring L.A. through a Latino lens. Vista L.A.'s Patricia Lopez joins Omar y Argelia of K-LOVE radio to hear about their success on the air and off. Then, Alysha Del Valle hits up the classic lowrider car show, "L.A. Story." Danny Romero is tearing it up with a rising star on the L.A. food scene who's worked her way up to Sous Chef, Daisy Aquino. Alysha meets up with the Angels' Albert Pujols and the Dodgers' Adrian Gonzalez to see how they're making dreams come true for some local kids. Finally, Patricia checks out Make Out, the coolest plant-based food spot with the cutest name in town!

Exodus Events presented "L.A. Story," a celebration of the classic lowrider, its vibrant culture and lifestyle that was born in Southern California. The star of the night was the granddaddy of all lowriders: the Gypsy Rose. The Gypsy is considered the most influential custom lowrider car ever built, and the car that started the lowrider culture in Los Angeles.

Eveleigh's Sous Chef Daisy Aquino has incredible skill when it comes to butchering and fileting fresh meat, and she is known for making delicious charcuterie plates. If you stop by for her specialty, the Eveleigh's bar also has handcrafted cocktails such as the "Poor Carlito."

BASEBALL CAMPS

Two All-Star first basemen come together with one goal-- to teach local kids what it means to train like the pros. Los Angeles Dodgers' Adrian Gonzalez and Anaheim Angels' Albert Pujols teamed up with the organization Procamps Worldwide to make dreams come true for a few hundred children. The boys and girls came out for a day camp and had the opportunity to learn how their role models worked their way from the minor league to the major league, even getting tips right from the pros! The year-round day camp is open to all kids.
