LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Troy Sexton was arrested for attending a Cincinnati Reds game after being banned from the park.

He just couldn't stay away from watching the Dodgers play the Cincinnati Reds, and according to court documents 40-year-old Sexton even went as far as to lie about his identity to see the Dodgers play Tuesday night.

Sexton's YouTube videos show the West Virginia's man's obsession with Dodger blue.

Sexton spent Tuesday night in jail after showing up at Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park to see the Reds play the Dodgers.

Sexton is banned from the ballpark after his arrest in a melee when the Dodgers were there in 2008.

"He came back to the game this week with the Dodgers in town," said Amy Williams, Sexton's attorney.

According to a police affidavit, Sexton, who lives nearly 200 miles away from Cincinnati, made threats that he came to the ballpark to "shatter lives" over the next couple of days.

His ominous remarks allegedly stem from Sexton's ban from the venue nearly six years ago after having been previously warned to stay off ballpark property.

Sexton was spotted Tuesday by a Cincinnati police officer. He was attending the second of a four-game series between the Reds and the Dodgers.

"He did give the officers a false name, that he's alleged to have given them a false name," said Williams.

His attorney doesn't see Sexton as a threat.

"He seemed harmless. He didn't have any weapons on him," said Williams.

Sexton was charged with misdemeanor obstruction and faces felony criminal trespass and burglary charges.

He is locked up on $40,000 bail.
