Dodger fans throughout the Southland were sweating, praying and biting their nails, but they made it through hours of stress as the boys in blue pulled out a 4-3 win over the Washington Nationals.

EL MONTE, Calif. (KABC) -- Dodger fans throughout the Southland were sweating, praying and biting their nails, but they made it through hours of stress as the boys in blue pulled out a 4-3 win over the Washington Nationals.

The Dodgers now move on to face the Chicago Cubs in the National League Championship Series.

Some of the loudest cheers could be heard in El Monte at The Post bar, where members of Pantone 294 - a Dodger fan club named for the technical name for the team's official blue color - had gathered to watch the game.
