Dodgers invite switch-pitcher Pat Venditte to spring training

LOS ANGELES -- Switch-pitcher Pat Venditte is among 22 non-roster players invited to spring training with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The 32-year-old Venditte agreed to a minor league deal in November after he spent the 2017 season pitching for Triple-A Lehigh Valley in the Phillies' organization. He had a 3.36 ERA in 69 2/3 innings of relief.

Venditte pitched in parts of two seasons in the major leagues with Oakland in 2015 and Toronto and Seattle in 2016. He has a 4.97 ERA in 41 career relief appearances in the big leagues.

Other pitchers invited to camp are: left-handers Manny Banuelos and Brian Moran, and right-handers Joe Broussard, Daniel Corcino, C.C. Lee, Mark Lowe, Zach Neal and Yasiel Sierra.

Invited catchers are Keibert Ruiz, Will Smith and Shawn Zarraga.

Infielders who were invited are Matt Beaty, Drew Jackson, Max Muncy, Jake Peter, Edwin Rios and Donovan Solano.

Outfielders are Yusniel Diaz, DJ Peters, Henry Ramos and Travis Taijeron.

Pitchers and catchers report to Glendale, Arizona, on Feb. 12.
