UCLA cornerback Fabian Moreau, who suffered a chest injury during the school's pro day on Tuesday, had surgery Wednesday evening to repair a torn pectoral muscle, a source told ESPN.

The defensive back suffered the injury while working on the bench press.

NFL Network first reported the news.

Moreau, projected to be in the first 40 picks of this year's NFL draft, is expected to be fully recovered by the start of training camps in late July. He will continue to take pre-draft visits.

Moreau is the second top cornerback to suffer a significant injury during a pro day workout this year.

Sidney Jones, the top projected cornerback, suffered a torn Achilles tendon during the University of Washington's pro day a few weeks ago. He underwent surgery earlier this week and tweeted that his doctor told him he should be able to return at some point in the 2017 season.
