Huntington Beach hosts annual Surf City USA Marathon
Huntington Beach is known as Surf City USA but the real action this weekend will be on dry land as the city hosts its annual marathon.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Huntington Beach is known as Surf City USA but the real action this weekend will be on dry land as the city hosts its annual marathon.

Pacific Coast Highway will be closed from Beach Boulevard to Warner Avenue on Sunday from 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The following roads will be closed on Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.:

  • Goldenwest St. closed from Slater Ave. to Ellis Ave.
  • Goldenwest St. closed from Orange Ave. to PCH
  • S/B Edwards Ave. closed from Slater Ave. to Garfield Ave.
  • N/B Edwards Ave. will be open with traffic delays
  • S/B Seapoint St. closed from Garfield Ave. to Palm Ave.
  • N/B Seapoint St. closed at Summit Ave.
  • Seapoint St. closed from Palm Ave. to PCH
  • Garfield Ave. closed from Edwards Ave. to Seapoint St.
  • Talbert Ave. closed from Fieldbury Ln. to Edwards Ave.
