LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Rams announced plans to hold auditions for the team's cheerleading squad in April.

"We are seeking professional, glamorous, talented candidates to be part of our return to Los Angeles. Our cheerleaders will represent the Rams organization not only on the field, but also throughout the community, nationally and abroad," said Keely Fimbres-Bledsoe, the Ram's director of special events and cheerleaders on the squad's website.

Optional workshops are scheduled for March 20, 24 and 26 at 24 Hour Fitness Clubs in Woodland Hills, Hollywood and San Bernardino, respectively. Registration is required three days prior to the date of the workshop, which costs $40.

The workshops will be followed by mandatory preliminary auditions, which are scheduled for April 2 and 3 at the Galen Center on the USC campus.

The final auditions will take place on April 17 at the Forum and will include an interview portion, swimsuit competition and dance performance.
