Source: Lakers expected to have Lonzo Ball for solo workout June 7

Former UCLApoint guard Lonzo Ball is expected to work out for the Los Angeles Lakers on June 7, a source confirmed to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

Ball also is expected to meet with the Lakers' coaching staff and front-office personnel.

No other players are expected to be involved in Ball's workout, the source said.

The Lakers own the second overall pick in the June 22 NBA draft.

Ball also is considering working out for the Philadelphia 76ers, league sources previously told ESPN.

Boston general manager Danny Ainge recently said that Ball had declined to work out for theCeltics, despite a chance to be selected No. 1 overall.

A source said the Lakers had originally scheduled the workout for June 9, but they had to change the date due to a conflict.
