Venue list for 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles' concept for the 2028 Games will involve four main sports parks, including venues in downtown Los Angeles, Long Beach, the San Fernando Valley and the South Bay.

It was quite the sight all over Los Angeles Tuesday night as dozens of landmarks and buildings lit up in LA 2028 colors.

Here is a breakdown of the venue concepts from the LA 2028 organization, as well as the venues' corresponding events.

DOWNTOWN SPORTS PARK:

- L.A. Memorial Coliseum: Athletics & ceremonies

- L.A. Football Club Stadium: Football

- Galen Center: Badminton

- Dedeaux field: Diving, swimming, synchronized swimming

- Staples Center: Basketball

- L.A. Convention Center (South Hall 1): Fencing, Taekwondo

- L.A. Convention Center (South Hall 2): Boxing

- L.A. Convention Center (West Hall 1): Table Tennis

- L.A. Convention Center (West Hall 1): Basketball

- Microsoft Theater: Weightlifting

- Grand Park and L.A. City Hall: Cycling-road time trials, road cycling, marathon-race walk

- Downtown Sports Park will also include: Media village, main press center (USC) and Olympic family hotels
