Vote: Are the Warriors back to being the team to beat?

Uh-oh, the Golden State Warriors are hot.

So hot, in fact, that Stephen Curry & Co. have won nine straight after pulling off one of the biggest wins of the season on Wednesday night against the San Antonio Spurs.

After going down 29-7 in the first quarter, the Warriors went on to outscore the Spurs by 34 points the rest of the game and win 110-98.

Even more impressive is the fact that the Warriors won in a place -- San Antonio -- where they've been historically bad and that they did it on the second night of a back-to-back after beating the Houston Rockets 113-106 on Tuesday night.

What does this mean as the Warriors march toward the playoffs? Maybe the more important question: What does this mean for the rest of the Western Conference?

In the Warriors' comeback victory, not only did Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson play well -- scoring 29 and 23 points, respectively -- but the bench also played a pivotal part. Veteran forward David West scored 15 points while Andre Iguodala chipped in with 14 points and shot 66 percent from the floor.

Golden State's big win also comes on the heels of more good fortune. On Wednesday, the team announced that injured starKevin Durant could return to the team before the end of the regular season.

According to ESPN's Marc Stein, as long as the 28-year-old remains on his current track, Durant could return for the Warriors' final three games of the regular season.

The Warriors are hot, and it appears they'll be at full strength when they playoffs begin. For any team heading their way, that has to be a scary thought.
