DENVER -- Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday on the left hamstring injury he aggravated in a Class A game while on a rehab assignment Friday night.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said it's too early to gauge how much additional time Puig will miss. He has been on the 15-day disabled list since April 26. Before Friday, the Dodgers were hopeful Puig would rejoin them before their game Monday night against the Miami Marlins.

Puig left the game at High Desert in the fifth inning after feeling tightness in the hamstring while running out a ground ball. The hamstring has bothered him most of the season.

"That's what those games are for, to tell you if a guy's ready," Mattingly said. "We found out after he pulled up and felt something that he's just not ready. It doesn't mean it's a total setback or anything. From our standpoint, I don't think it's a monumental thing or it's blown up or anything."
