Suspect wounded after San Bernardino chase, officer-involved shooting

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A suspect was wounded after a chase and officer-involved shooting in San Bernardino on Wednesday.

Officers were responding to reports of gunfire on the 1500 block of Eureka, when then saw three men flee in a car.

Police chased them down and at one point opened fire. One suspect was wounded and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to San Bernardino police.

The two other suspects were taken into custody, SBPD officials said.

A gunshot victim was found at the original scene and was expected to survive.
