The digital world came to a screeching halt today after learning that Instagram was down. Yes, the choice app for taking pictures of your food and gym selfies went down, displaying a "503 Service Unavailable" message on their site.

The app tweeted "Instagram is experiencing some technical issues. We're aware and working on a fix." But that didn't stop many passionate users of the photo application to voice their ire over the Internet.
