PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Looking for a job in Los Angeles County? There's an app for that.

The JobsLA app was unveiled by Mayor Eric Garcetti on Saturday at the Northeast San Fernando Valley WorkSource Center in Pacoima. The app lists thousands of positions throughout the area.

"Right now in L.A. County there are 150,000 jobs that are waiting for people, so there's no excuse. If you're looking for a job we can find the job that's right for you," Garcetti said. You can register, we'll help you with your education, your resume and it's all free."

Job seekers can search through one app that filters 20,000 websites right at their fingertips.

The app also allows employers to search the database for potential job candidates.

The JobsLA app can be downloaded through the iTunes store for Apple devices and Google Play for Android devices.
