A new online service offers to take care of those painful awkward goodbyes you have with your significant other.

LOS ANGELES -- A new online service offers to take care of those painful and awkward goodbyes you have with your significant other.

Sorry It's Over is an Australian website that offers a variety of services to assist people with breaking up with their husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend or, as it says on the site, mistress.

"Why look them in the eye and watch the hurt? No one wants to deal with all that screaming, sobbing, begging and emotional pleas of 'just one more chance,'" the website reads.

Founder Kristy Mazins said the tech-savvy Generation Y is the target audience since they are particularly scared of confrontation.

According to the website, a breakup text message costs $5.50. Customers can choose from a variety of reasons for the breakup, including, "we have not been seeing eye-to-eye," "how dare you treat me like this," or users can create a custom message.

Customers can also choose to breakup with their significant other using an email, a phone call, a letter, flowers or a personal meeting with a representative from the company.

The site even said they will soon be offering a sympathy hamper for $90, which includes a bottle of wine, chocolate, tissues, peanuts and an affirmative quote.
