A new survey designed to test your Web IQ reveals what Americans do and don't know about the Internet, and the results might surprise you.

According to the Pew Research Center, fewer than 20 percent of Americans use Twitter. But 60 percent of those surveyed know tweets are limited to 140 characters.

Eighty-three percent recognized Microsoft founder Bill Gates from a photo. But only 21 percent could identify a picture of Facebook COO and "Lean In" author Sheryl Sandberg.

And while 61 percent of Internet users know what net neutrality means, only 23 percent know that "WWW" and the Internet are not the same thing.

You can find your Web IQ by taking the quiz for yourself.
