What happens when you ask Siri to solve 10 trillion to the power of 1000 minus one?

David Freiheit wanted to challenge the iPhone assistant Siri to answer a seemingly simple math equation, but it resulted in a lengthy answer.

To pass the time while Siri flooded his car with nines, Freiheit played the harmonica, ordered at a drive-thru and drove miles. More than once Siri paused, giving Freiheit and his passengers hope that she was at the end of her response, only to resume repeating, "nine, nine, nine, nine..."

After 30 minutes, Freiheit gave up.

Freiheit said that although his iPhone was charging during his experiment, it lost 30 percent of its battery life and it was "badly overheating."

If math's not your thing, try asking Siri to beatbox for you.
