Rollover crash shuts down Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A rollover crash shut down a major artery through Hollywood during the busy Friday morning commute.

The wreck occurred near Sunset and Crescent Heights boulevards around 5 a.m. As a result, Sunset Boulevard was shut down between Crescent Heights and La Cienega boulevards.

The crash involved two vehicles, one of which overturned.

Following the crash, one of the drivers ran into a nearby gas station restroom for an unknown reason. The driver has since surrendered to police.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
