'Scariest landing' at St. Maarten airport comes to an end
Thrill-seekers and tourists have flocked to Maho Beach in St. Maarten to see flyovers.

Plane spotters at Maho Beach on St. Maarten in the Caribbean will no longer able to see KLM Airways' "scariest landing."

The beach has become a popular spot to see up close flyovers as planes land at Princess Juliana International Airport.

KLM has switched their planes flying into St. Maarten from Boeing 747 jumbo jets to smaller Airbus 330s.

The final KLM Boeing 747 flight was on Oct. 28.
