ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- An overturned dump truck spilled its haul of asphalt across the northbound 57 Freeway in Anaheim early Friday morning, prompting the hourslong closure of several lanes.
The crash happened about 2:30 a.m. near Ball Road and left the driver of the truck with minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Four lanes were closed for about three hours as crews worked to clean up the debris and removed the vehicle from the scene.
The cause of the incident was unknown.
