Gardena couple offers free Santa pictures

GARDENA, Calif. -- A man and his wife may have retired from playing Mr. and Mrs. Claus at malls across the country, but they're keeping their act alive at their Gardena home.

David Stoner and his wife, Kathy, traveled the country from mall to mall for 30 years. Stoner says he's done charging people $25 for a picture and would rather offer a free photo.

The couple has set up a winter wonderland at their home where people can stop by, color or read a book while drinking hot chocolate.
