A barricade involving an armed man in a liquor store came to a dramatic end when Los Angeles County deputies fired multiple non-lethal rounds at the defiant suspect Wednesday.

The incident began when a deputy Tasered the suspect, who was reportedly armed. The man then ran into a Windsor Hills liquor store at Slauson and Keniston avenues.

At some point the suspect exited the liquor store and began walking down Slauson Avenue past deputies with guns drawn. The man continued down the street, apparently ignoring deputies who gave chase.

Several deputies got out of their vehicles in an attempt to apprehend the man, who kept walking for several blocks before multiple deputies were seen firing non-lethal rounds at the suspect.

The man continued to walk even after he was repeatedly struck by the non-lethal projectiles, crossing the street and quickening his pace before deputies could be seen deploying multiple Tasers on him again.

The suspect continued to flee before finally going down, but struggled against deputies as they took him into custody.

No deputies were injured in the incident. The suspect was loaded into an ambulance.
