VIDEO: Van takes off after slamming into grandmother in Santa Ana

SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- Santa Ana police officers are searching for a hit-and-run driver they say struck and injured a grandmother.

The crash was caught on surveillance video. The woman was crossing the street on Orange and McFadden avenues when the white van hit her last Thursday.

She was knocked down and taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

The driver took off in what appears to be a 2017 or 2018 Ford Transit van.
