3.0-magnitude earthquake hits northern Orange County

YORBA LINDA, Calif. (KABC) -- A small earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 struck northern Orange County shortly before noon on Friday.

The quake struck at 11:58 a.m. and was centered five miles east-southeast of Yorba Linda and eight miles east of Placentia, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Shaking from the temblor was felt in Chino Hills.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
