Flash flood warning canceled for Colby burn area as rain moves east
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the Colby burn area Wednesday morning, but quickly canceled it as rain moved east of Los Angeles County.

GLENDORA, Calif. (KABC) -- The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the Colby burn area Wednesday morning, but quickly canceled it as rain moved east of Los Angeles County.

Moderate to heavy rain fell in the Glendora and Azusa area, where the Colby Fire burned nearly 2,000 acres in January, leaving little vegetation to hold water back. No new mudslides were reported.

Mud from last Friday's storm seeped into several backyards but not into homes.
