Expect sunny and warm conditions Friday across Southern California with the pleasant summer weather continues through the weekend.

Los Angeles and Orange counties may see some morning fog with high temperatures in the upper 80s.

The valleys and Inland Empire will be hot and sunny with highs in the low-90s amid some unhealthy air quality.

Expect warm conditions in the beach communities with highs in the mid-70s. Morning clouds should give way to sunny skies, and swells from the southwest may create a 2-3 foot surf.

Mountains will be partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms. The high temperatures there will touch 80 amid unhealthy air.

Desert areas will be hot with temperatures in the upper 90s with a 10 percent chance for thunderstorms.
