Sunday will be mostly clear skies with warm conditions as highs hit the 70s and 80s across most of the Southland.

It will be a beautiful and warm Sunday with some cloud cover in the morning and clear skies in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 70s and 80s.

In Los Angeles and Orange counties, morning clouds will give way to sunny skies and a high temperature of 79 degrees.

Conditions will also be sunny and warmer in the valleys and the Inland Empire, where the high temperature will be 85.

At the beaches, skies will be partly cloudy amid temperatures hovering the low 70s. Swells from the southwest could create 2-4 foot waves.

Sunny and pleasant conditions are expected for the mountain areas as skies will be clear and highs will hit the upper 60s.

The desert area will see warm and windy conditions with gusts up to 40 mph and temperatures in the upper 80s.
