The sun is back in Southern California and it's staying out for at least the rest of this week.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The sun is back in Southern California and it's staying out for at least the rest of this week.

Tuesday should bring clear skies and pleasant temperatures in the 70s, even topping 80 in some areas.

Los Angeles and Orange counties will see the high hit about 76 on Tuesday and stay in the mid 70s for the rest of the week.

Skies will be mostly sunny in the valleys and the Inland Empire and the high will hit 82 on Tuesday.

Beaches will be just a little cooler, seeing a high reaching 69.

Mountains will be cool and clear, with a high of 62.

The deserts will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature of 79, dropping to 48 overnight.
