The red flag warning across most of Southern California has been extended through 4 p.m. Tuesday.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The red flag warning across most of Southern California has been extended through 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The warning, which covers large swaths of Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties and parts of the Inland Empire, was initially scheduled to expire Monday night.

A freeze warning for the Antelope Valley area was issued early Tuesday morning and was expected to expire around 9 a.m.

The powerful gusts have left a path of debris and damage. Part of the roof was ripped off at a Home Depot in the Inland Empire.

From Westwood to Jurupa Valley trees were toppled, crushing several cars over the weekend. No injuries were reported.

The wind also ripped signs and tarps, and fences were blown over. Dirt and dust filled the air in Chino, creating dangerous driving conditions.
