Triple digits temperatures 'torture' SoCal desert residents

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. (KABC) -- Southern California's desert area is known for heat this time of year, but that doesn't mean everyone likes it.

"I'm a beach person and this weather, for me, it's just ongoing torture," said Christina Gullett, who lives in Desert Hot Springs.
