VIDEO: Eyewitness News reporter caught off guard by Hawaii hurricanes

HONOLULU (KABC) -- Iselle was supposed to weaken, but it didn't - and now Hawaii is poised to take its first direct hurricane hit in 22 years.

Eyewitness News reporter Jovana Lara is among those in Hawaii caught off guard by the rare hurricanes.

She is currently in Maui, which is expected to feel the effects of the storm.
