Young man found dead near abandoned construction site in Garden Grove

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation is underway in the suspicious death of a young man in Garden Grove.

A couple of teenagers discovered the young man's body while walking by an abandoned construction site on Garden Grove Boulevard near Brookhurst Tuesday, shortly before 5 p.m.

Garden Grove police said the body showed signs of trauma, and the case is being investigated as a homicide.

Authorities were releasing few details about the victim, except that he is between 19 to 25 years old and is either white or Hispanic.
