VICTORVILLE, Calif. (KABC) -- Large amounts of ammunition, guns and a small marijuana grow were found inside of a Victorville home where three children live.
Deputies from the Victorville Gang Team issued a search warrant at a home in the 16300 block of Manchester Street around 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities found 22 firearms, including assault weapons with high capacity magazines, shot guns, hand guns of multiple calibers and a large cache of ammunition. A small indoor marijuana grow with about 1 pound packaged for sales was also found in the home.
Three small children were found to be living at the home and that the weapons were easily accessible to them.
Authorities arrested Ronald Lamas, 33, the resident of the home. He is a convicted felon and criminal street gang member, police said. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
He faces charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of an assault weapon, felon in possession of ammunition, and possession of marijuana for sale and child endangerment with a criminal street gang member enhancement.
