Curt Sandoval sat down for a one-on-one interview with the NFL Rookie of the Year: Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.
"It's a tremendous honor, I think it's a sign of all the hard work we put in," said Herbert about being chosen for the award.
Herbert has won a lot of awards in his young career including Rose Bowl MVP and the "Academic Heisman." When asked about winning the William V. Campbell trophy, he said, "I think being able to be good in the classroom applies to football because you get this playbook and you need to study it and you need to learn it quickly. So all those study habits you take in school, you apply them to football."
