BELLFLOWER, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting that left a teen dead in Bellflower.
In the early morning hours on Monday, Jesus Chavez was located and arrested on suspicion of fatally shooting a 17-year-old.
Around 10:45 p.m. Saturday, a car pulled up to a location in the 16100 block of Bellflower Boulevard and shot at the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene.
Authorities found the victim who was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Chavez was booked at the Lakewood Sherriff's Station on suspicion of murder and is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
