Police are searching for a suspect and an accomplice, believed to be underage, for allegedly breaking into a San Bernardino animal shelter and stealing a dog.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- Police are searching for a suspect and an accomplice, believed to be underage, for allegedly breaking into a San Bernardino animal shelter and stealing a dog.

Surveillance video shows the adult and a possible child, around the age of 10 to 14 years old, cutting the locks to seven kennels around 7 p.m. Tuesday night, according to Lt. Rich Lawhead of the San Bernardino Police Department.

A pit bull mix was reported stolen.
